Haggett Hall Demolition and Replacement
Project Overview
Haggett Hall is beyond its useful life expectancy and is scheduled to be demolished and replaced with new student housing. A new Haggett Hall will be constructed to accommodate approximately 800 student beds and provide facilities that support student fitness, wellness and equity. In addition, the project will incorporate a site and landscape design that offers connectivity to the adjacent north campus students housing and Lewis Grove through integrated pathways, plantings and gathering spaces. The Project will implement and utilize both sustainable construction processes and material to reinforce and achieve campus green building standards. The new Haggett Hall is scheduled to open for the Fall 2027 quarter.

Inspiration Statement
Haggett Hall will bring a sense of delight to the users, with a connection to nature and
an ethos of well-being, and it will become a destination in North Campus.
We are a healthy team! We enjoy positive relationships and overcome challenges
together. We solicit on-going team feedback to ensure team success. We want to work
together again!
We are good stewards of the Progressive Design-Build delivery method. We will
employ an effective schedule, get into a predictable project cadence, and build on
lessons learned from previous projects. We will use early, exceptional communication
so there are no surprises.
We will deliver maximum value for each dollar spent within the budget that is available.
This will lead to financial success for all.
We deliver comprehensive safety during the project and beyond for our workforce as
well as faculty, staff, and students.
We will be recognized for creating an enduringly popular residence hall that completes
North Campus with a distinct vibe, that masters recent code changes and exceeds
sustainability goals, and that evolves how Housing & Food Services delivers for their
students.
